White Stone Counseling Resources

Jon NotoJon is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois. He holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, and a B.S. in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago.

He worked previously as a pastor, which shaped his view of personal growth and caring for clients. Jon was at Willow Creek Community Church for six years overseeing marriage ministry, pastoral care, and small groups. He has also worked in a school as a counselor and both experiences helped him to recognize the "big picture" of a client's life, relationships, and the journey they are on.

Jon sees adolescents, young adults, and adults for individual sessions. He also enjoys working with couples, bringing in tools and strategies he taught in his work as a pastor. A specialty area for Jon is guys from high school to adulthood who are stuck in unhealthy habits or patterns that keep them from reaching their full potential. Men and teens who are angry, passive, or anxious and aren't being the men they want to be in work, school, and/or family. Other clinical interests include depression, anxiety, life transitions, men's issues, and marital issues.

Jon continues to work with and support churches by teaching, leading workshops, and coaching. At home he enjoys spending lots of time with his wife and two young boys.

Looking for a Counselor?

Become a Church Partner

"As a pastor, I have tremendous confidence that when I send a member of our church, they will meet with a counselor who brings true grace and compassion mixed with sound Biblical counsel. They have also helped me to be a better counselor as a pastor and to get a better picture of the challenges and struggles our people face. They are more than just counselors to whom we refer. We consider White Stone to be our ministry partner in helping us disciple our congregation to emotional and spiritual health and in ministering to our broken world."
