Mark is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin.  He holds an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with high honors and an MBA with a concentration in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management with high honors. Mark also holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

With several years of clinical experience in an intensive outpatient setting for substance use disorders, Mark has cultivated a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding addiction. He believes in creating a safe, nurturing, and non-judgmental environment where clients can experience positive change, healing, and growth. Mark takes the time to understand the multifaceted issues his clients face, offering holistic solutions that consider various perspectives, including their relationship with God.

Mark specializes in working with individuals aged 18 and over, addressing challenges such as addictive behaviors, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, men's issues, and trauma. Mark also works extensively with couples, and he has completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.  Mark’s integrative approach combines evidence-based practices with spiritual sensitivity, empowering clients to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential.

Outside the counseling room, Mark cherishes time with his wife and son. He enjoys running, reading, exploring the forest preserves of Lake County, and connecting with friends over coffee and good food. As a member of the American Counseling Association and the Illinois Counseling Association, Mark remains committed to professional growth and ethical practice.
