Angela Heier, M.A., LPC (IL) LPC-IT (WI)
Raised in Southeast Asia and originally from Canada, Angela brings a globally informed perspective to her work. She enjoys working with individual adults, children, and couples, offering a welcoming space where clients can feel seen, heard, and supported on their journey toward healing, hope, and the abundant life God offers.
Angela views counseling as a collaborative process—one that helps people explore emotions, relationships, and patterns that feel confusing or stuck. Her warm presence encourages clients to slow down, make sense of what’s happening inside, and move toward greater freedom and connection.
Clinical Focus & Specialized Training
Angela has a deep desire to see people thrive in each stage of their life journey. Her clinical interests include:
Depression and anxiety
Couples and Martial communication and conflict
Work stress, ministry stress, and burnout
Grief and loss
Drawing on her own childhood experiences growing up overseas—as well as years serving in global ministry roles—Angela holds a unique passion for walking alongside adult and child third culture kids and global ministry families. She supports them as they navigate transitions, cultural layers, identity formation, and the relational challenges inherent in cross-cultural living. Angela’s desire is to create a therapeutic environment that fosters resiliency, identity, personal wholeness, and relational effectiveness.
