He draws from Gottman Method principles, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and other relationship-focused approaches. Many partners come in feeling disconnected or unsure how to communicate. David offers practical guidance to help improve conversations, reduce recurring conflicts, and rebuild emotional closeness.

David grew up in the church, and for clients who desire, he is able to integrate faith into therapy. His goal is to honor your values and create a space where you can explore challenges with openness and compassion,
David is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Studies from Moody Bible Institute and his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Moody Theological Seminary. He is also a member of the Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his wife, seeing Broadway shows, playing board games, and working on a good puzzle.
