Luke Campbell, M.Div., M.A., LCPC
Luke is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Tennessee. He holds Master’s degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministry from King University in Bristol, Tennessee.
His Story
Before attending college, Luke served four years on active-duty military. During that time, God interrupted his life with the freedom of grace—an experience that sparked a lifelong journey of learning to receive and embody it.
Throughout and after his college years, Luke served as a youth pastor in Tennessee and volunteered with Young Life on junior high and high school campuses. These early ministry experiences continue to shape his compassionate, down-to-earth presence with clients.
Therapeutic Approach
Luke values creating intentional space where clients can be deeply heard, gently understood, and supported as their lives and stories take shape. He believes that:
We cannot care for what we do not understand.
Limited insight limits our ability to live fully alive with the gifts, talents, and skills God has given us.
His approach helps clients explore identity, purpose, relationships, and emotional patterns in a way that honors their faith, personal uniqueness, and lived experience.
Clinical Focus & Specialized Training
With over ten years of professional counseling experience, Luke supports a wide range of concerns, including:
Trauma counseling
Anxiety and mood disorders
Addictions
Marital and relational conflict
Vocational and career issues including burnout
As a veteran, Luke also brings meaningful insight to the unique challenges faced by military personnel and their families. He has completed training in S.A.F.E. EMDR and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), using these evidence-based approaches to help clients move toward healing, clarity, and renewed resilience.
Luke welcomes individuals, couples, families, and adolescents into the therapeutic space.
