Anita Everly, Intern

Anita Everly is a counseling intern at White Stone Resources who offers a compassionate, grounded presence for clients seeking clarity, healing, and emotional growth. She cares deeply about truly seeing each person—who they are, what they’re carrying, and what they long for in this season of life.

Who She Helps

Anita supports clients navigating:

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Life transitions

  • Self-doubt and identity struggles

  • Attachment and family-of-origin wounds

  • Relationship and communication challenges

  • Trauma and grief

She works with individuals who want to understand their story more fully, process past pain, and build a healthier, more hopeful future.

Her Approach

Anita provides a warm, safe environment where clients can explore present struggles, unprocessed experiences from the past, or hopes for the future. She understands that while everyone faces emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges, each person’s experience is unique.

Her style is collaborative and deeply respectful—helping clients identify areas for growth, recognize their strengths, and integrate new tools that support healing and flourishing. From a Christian perspective, Anita finds great joy in helping others grow more fully into who God created them to be.

Education & Training

Anita is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL, with plans to obtain licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She is also a member of the American Counseling Association.

Personal Life

Outside the counseling room, Anita and her husband enjoy starting their mornings with a walk, a rhythm that keeps them connected and ready for their next National Park adventures. Her favorite moments are spent with their three grown sons and daughter-in-law when they’re in town. Anita and her husband also serve together as leaders in their church.
