Meet Kathy – Your Companion on the Journey Toward Hope and Healing

Life has a way of knocking the wind out of us. Grief settles in where joy once lived. Anxiety steals our peace. Relationships fracture. Seasons shift before we’re ready. In moments like these, we long for a place where the dust can settle—a place to breathe, reflect, and begin again.

Kathy offers exactly that.

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois with more than 20 years of experience, Kathy has walked with countless individuals through life’s darkest valleys and most meaningful transitions. Her gentle, steady presence—rooted in both clinical wisdom and a faith-informed perspective—creates a space where emotional healing and spiritual renewal can take root side by side.

Kathy warmly supports clients working through:

  • Loss and grief

  • Depression and anxiety

  • Life transitions

  • Women’s issues

  • Relationship concerns

  • Parenting challenges

  • Wholeness and brain health

Her heart for her work is simple and sincere: to help people move from heaviness and discouragement toward peace, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Kathy holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and brings a rich background in education, leadership, and teaching. She is an active member of the Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association and the American Counseling Association, underscoring her dedication to high-quality, ethical care.

Beyond her professional role, Kathy’s life has been shaped by her own experiences of profound loss and unexpected rebuildings. Widowed after 25 years of marriage, she understands firsthand what it means to grieve, to hope, and to embrace life again with an open heart. Today she delights in time with her family and seven grandchildren, and finds refreshment in biking, hiking, traveling, and wandering through beautiful gardens.

If you’re searching for a compassionate guide who will listen deeply, honor your story, and walk with you toward healing, Kathy would be honored to meet you. Your journey doesn’t have to be walked alone—hope is closer than you think.
