Hanbit Lee, M.A., LPC

Hanbit is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She received a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School after obtaining a Masters in Biblical Studies through Moody Theological Seminary.

Hanbit is originally from Seoul, South Korea, but spent the majority of her time as an adult in the US. As a counselor, she enjoys working with adults and teens. Hanbit sees the importance of establishing true identity through Christ and His holistic healing in counseling sessions. She believes counseling provides tools to cope with transitions, challenges in life, and emotional regulation.

Having worked with individuals and groups, Hanbit is passionate in helping people to develop healthy thought patterns and behavior that lead to relief and growth.

Having worked in vocational ministry, she knows the significant need for mental health assistance to ministry leaders. She has a strong desire to provide a safe space for church leaders in advocacy to increase hope and balance. Additionally, she is focused on treating depression, anxiety, trauma, transitions, and spiritual concerns.

Hanbit offers bilingual counseling in English and Korean.

In her free time, Hanbit enjoys drawing, painting, exploring coffee shops, and spending time with her loved ones.
